At the Tonezone we have listed ourselves with linkedin (business
profile Trevor Puckeridge and on Twitter Tonezonept).
We will be also adding information to this page on the latest
techniques and research into personal training and fitness.
In comming weeks the Tonezone will be advertising it's new
divsion which will be listed as fitness consultants. In this
listing we will be offering our services as consultants to the
general public.
As fitness consultants we will be servicing a niche that we have
identified to the public who just want to know if they are doing
the right thing without the cost of a personal trainer per
hour. It will be on a consultancy base and will have a
maximum charge out time of an hour.
Fitness consultants will still carry the full registration
requirements and insurances to allow the public the knowledge that
they are getting qualified advice. This advice will be given
after the consumer has contacted the relevant medical authorities
and sort their advice. In the industry we deem this type of
individual as "an at risk client".
Once a qualified medical professional (physio, chiropractor,
doctor, specialist and surgeon) has advised a routine to go through
to get either back on their feet or back to work. The Tonezone
could be contacted to ensure that the exercise that the client is
doing is exactly what the doctor advised. Then over a period
of time the Tonezone could be contacted on a consultancy base to
advise of the next step. The client would take on the
prescribed exercises that the medical professional has instructed
and then follow up with what the Tonezone has said.
The difference from exercise consultant to the personal trainer
is:
the personal trainer is a bit more costly
the personal trainer is employed by the hour and usually in a
package deal
the personal trainer will follow all aspects of your
training.
As an Exercise Consultant the Tonezone
would be employed by consultancy rates (up to an hour)
would still asses the client on programs
would advise the client on the next step
would then allow the client to go out and complete the exercise
on their own, after the exercise has been understood.
Review of a consultant would be in the clients hands to take
ownership of their situation
We would however recommend no less than a month review due to
the nature of the body and how it would adapt.
